Amazing Grace

A song from a book I have been learning from, called "Learn and play guitar" from First Act. They sell it at Wal~Mart and it is a good beginners book, although; they assume in the book one knows how to read music. So I have been forced to forget reading tab - and am now reading raw notes out of the book on music bars.

Like You Were

The piano is off key and pretty darn old, and the keys stick - badly. I don't know how to read music. I just wrote the poem first. Then I just played by ear.

Slower piano cover of The Prayer played by ear

I had another version of this song up a couple of days ago, but I deleted it because I thought it was played too fast. I like this one much better. Choir

This was the youth choir at the school where we stayed. They don't know how to read music, but can (obviously) sing harmony. All the choirs I saw were directed by somebody who would just feed everybody their parts, and a person who played keyboard. Unfortunately, the keys on the keyboard often stopped working, so then the person playing the keyboard part would have to change keys and transpose all the music by ear, while still making sure it was with the range of the choir! Though I met ...

Deception

An instrumental I made recently. I sampled violin sounds into a keyboard so I could play keyboard and it would sound like playing the violin. You don't even have to know how to read music to sound like you do if you can mess with the technology that's out there. For the video I used one of my favorite movie villians from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. The kiddie snatcher. Very creepy. And with the crap going on these days he seems even more sinister than when I was a kid.

piano tutorial and it's my pleasure helping you out. unfortunately, i don't have a music sheet available at the time; i learned this song, as well as many more that i know of, by ear, so don't even bother asking me for a sheet. i don't know how to read music, let alone play with a sheet in front of my face. and if you were wondering, yes, I do know how to count...I especially know that six, in fact, comes after five. for your information, I'm counting in sign language, for that's the proper ...

Comptine d'un autre ete: L'apres-midi - Yann Tiersen

Challenge #: 6 Song: Comptine d'un autre ete: L'apres-midi (Amelie Soundtrack) Composer: Yann Tiersen Difficulty (in my opinion): Easy After years of piano lessons, practicing, and hard work I've finally learned how to read music. However, it kinda started getting boring because you read, you play, and hardly no challenge to piano playing anymore. So then I came up with the idea of "memorizing as much music as I can..." These will be some of my favorite piano solos and hopefully yours too : ...

John O'Dreams

me on my keyboard. I think this version skips a little though so pardon that until I redo it! Thanks! For those of you who like to diss people by showing off your music knowledge, be kind. I taught myself piano, no one has ever showed me how to read music or anything like that and your typically rude comments will be ignored so don't waste your time. Music is about more then technicality and lessons. I did this for my own fun and so others could enjoy the music too. To everyone else: Enjoy! ...

Father vs Son

My dad called me out for a "battle" as he called it, so I reluctantly sauntered over with my camera. IE My father plays latin percussion, not marching percussion. He taught me how to read music 9 years ago and I am forever grateful to him for helping me start my musical endeavours at an early age.
